RC-Hangout

After building my wing I was talking to a friend and we had both seen Flite Tests Mighty Mini Sparrow.
So we got some foam board this morning and did this x2.
Electronics and maiden hopefully tomorrow.

It is, it will be powered by a 1804 2300kv running 3s.

Managed to get it pretty much finished and flying today.
Still have some more taping to do to get it all coloured and covered but that's about it.
After talking about it on Friday night, we went in to town and got supplies and did the build Saturday.
I finished the electrics Saturday evening and flew Sunday morning.
This is the second flight, I forgot to hit record on the camera for the first one.
It was pretty windy and a little scary but fun none the less.

Haha I love it. I think its a really good looking plane.

I've been thinking of building something for the kids to fly this could be the one. By the sounds of it I've got most of the parts to build it in my parts bin. I would just need some foam board.
Was there much, if any damage on that landing

Very little damage Dan, little nicks in the wing and the front of the tail where the wing was pushed back.
Did my first FPV flight with it this morning, only 3 minutes as I had to get to work but I enjoyed it.
I was going to record it but I had forgotten to put the sd card in the Dominators.
Maybe later, or tomorrow if the wind stays low enough.

I finally remembered to hit record on the Dominators.
