First ever build of a wood R/C plane. Will be a top wing sort of a Telemaster style. Purchased the kit from HK for $30.00, they call it "The Cloud Dancer "
It is 51 inch wing span and 35.5 inch fuse. I have about 4 hours in it so far. Lots to learn working with wood and coverings But I am excited!
It will be electric! 2838/9 950kv with 10x5 prop 4 channel.

The wings are coming together and 1 aileron built. It takes some time to build these balsa planes, foam board is much faster!

I just would not have the patience for something like this.
I like something I can take out of the box and have flying within a week.
My hat's off to you, this is looking great.

Thanks for the complements! To be honest I was really getting mentally locked up on the wing build, having to actually cut down the balsa to get a round leading edge was difficult then sanding the crap out off it. but I am happy with the result.
The covering is easier than I thought it would be and the Hobby King house stuff is really nice, good adhesion and shrinks down well at 1/3 the price.
Of special interest to me and possibly to Derek or any other Adams foam board builder is that it glues down on the lowest heat setting of the sealing iron and doesn't warp the foam board at least in my testing so far. That will make an awesome looking foamy !
