Thanks Graham. I happen to fine a new one in my spare parts collection and replaced it. I also installed a new TBS antenna while I was at it. I haven't had the chance to try it out because it got dark on me but in the morning that's a different story. I hope it works.

DOG...that fraid wire looks like the tip of the antenna wire for your "radio control" receiver. This being fraid won't have any impact on your lose of video signal. Youre talking about two different things here. If you can come across a new receiver, it may be beneficial to replace the fraid one. When you do, tape it to the side of the quad. A few months ago, you and I were talking on Skype and I suggested you do that because I noticed that my antenna wire was getting hit by the props. I've had mine taped to the side for a long time now.

As for your loss of video signal....check that your video antenna is secure (on the quad and your goggles) and doesn't wobble.

Thank you sir. I did install a new receiver and went through all the connection to make sure they're not loose. First thing this morning I'm going to give it a try and hope I resolve my problem. If not, I'll be back for more advice.

I have lost signal at distance with a wire like this, changed it and got no issues?

Well i got tired of goofing with the video reception on this quad. I did something silly this evening. I took my VTX set up that was going into my fossil 210 and made it fit in the shuriken 180. I thought the fossil was tight well somehow i made it fit and work. I haven't had the chance to try it out but I cant see it not working. I'll find out tomorrow after my morning routine. At least I'll have a quad to fly til my Omnibus F4 V2 flight controller comes in for the 210. I also ordered another Lumenier VTX for the 210 since the 180 has the other one in it

Finally I had the chance to try the quad out this morning. I'm glad to say that it works. The video part of the pdb doesn't work but installing the VTX in the 180 did. Pretty cool. Good enought for me to have fun with once again. Thanks guys
