Hey there. This might be important but I had to give it a try. I should of watch his video before I bought the TBS antenna

. I just watch a video on FPV antenna shootout from Joshua Bardwell. I took his advice and put my Lumenier pagoda 2 5.8 Hz antenna on my shuriken 180pro quad and my not so expensive goggles. It's dark outside, I couldn't fly so I powered up everything in my house. The house is 1500 sq foot concrete block structure home. The equipment, TX/quad was in the front part of the house in my man cave and took my goggles outback with me. I continue to walk outside behind our cabana/mother in law house, past and behind my aluminum garage toward the woods. I went through the woods to a dirt road located behind my house over 300 ft and stop. I was impress that I didn't loss reception. I would of walked farther into the woods but I didn't have any weapons to defend my self from critter that lurk in the night. Like my X wife

I can't wait til the morning to give it a try. It's probably not important to anyone but I wanted to share that I might finally have a good combination of goggles and quad antennas

Sounds good, once you try it properly it would be good to do a comparison, do a run with the pagoda, then do the same run with the TBS and share the results with us.
(Don't forget to disconnect the quad battery before you change the antenna.)

What's going on everyone. I had a beautiful morning Stambo and the chance to do a comparison like you asked of the 3 different antennas that I have to use with my quads and goggles. Here they are,

. The Pagoda, TBS and Foxeer . What I did was the same test to all 3 antenna. Inside and outside. The first test was inside the house like I mention in my first post. All 3 antennas did well but I would have to say that the Pagoda was the least one to show the least sign of reception breaking up. Wasn't bad that you couldn't fly with any of them but it was the least. 2nd was the TBS and bring up the rear was Foxeer. The next test was outside flying around the house, garage, through the woods, high attitude and distance. The distance was 2 football fields at least, my guess. For clarity, the Pagoda was the best followed by Foxeer and TBS was third. Now take into consideration that i didn't adjust anything on my goggles settings to make the view work for each antenna. I left the settings alone. For reception I would have to say that the Pagoda took that one too follow by TBS and rounding 3rd was Foxeer. Overall all 3 antenna, 5.8G did well but for the price, The Pagoda @ $11.99 ea x 2, the Foxeer @ $9.99 ea x 2 and the TBS @ $39.95 for 2, "Helination has them on sale for $29.95 for 2" and for me being a newbie into FPV flying and this is just my opinion I would say for the price that the Pagoda
