Tareq tearing it up with the SoxoS 700

I'm not sure how it is he got better, but he did. This was borderline "big air" at the beginning. Or about as big air as Tareq seems to get.
Did some really cool and unsettling nose in corkscrew moves, traveling (vertical circular) corkscrews, smooth as glass offset nose-in flip manuevers, really crazy impressive stuff. And the heli looks impressive too?

Yeah its a different style in this video, always liked his flying, pretty unique.

Has he won or placed in any big competitions? HE certainly seems to have the skill for it, if not the most inspired routines (there is a cinematic/choreograph element that I've always thought his flying lacked). But it seems like I rarely hear about him when it comes time for 3D masters, The One, etc.

Paul....I do believe that Tareq goes to some events but I don't believe that he ever actually competes.

I don't think he is sponsored anymore. From my understanding he got tired of the pro scene and wanted to just have fun. Although I think manufactures still send him stuff for testing.
he was in the pro scene for a short while though.

I have no doubt that companies send him stuff for testing. He's had a Goblin 380 for months and, to my knowledge, it's not even available to the public quite yet.

Being a Prince of the UAE, he can do and buy what ever he wants
He likes to fly but doesn't want to be bogged down by commitments to sponsors and competitions.

I suppose it keeps it fun not having an obligation to a sponsor, He can fly when he wants rather than when the sponsor says. that was an awesome flight again from him i really don't know how that heli stayed in the air pure skill and talent and i suppose that being a prince he doesn't have to worry about crash costs.

He could still compete without sponsorship. HE has the cash to roll his own effort. No commitments to anyone except to show up and fly his ass off to win.
More power to him if he doesn't want to, I guess.
