No video? Lol.. Was hoping to see & hear her... Anyhow.. Glad u liked the "v" curve... It's a good optio. On a 450 to replace the use of a gov.. Honestly I think I liked it better than gov on the 450. Good to hear... I think I finally helped someone! Score!

Yes I have vid Clay, I was playing around with an editor I bought a while back, forgot I had it. I'll get it published soon... Decided to add some comments in the video. Just messing around with editor really..

Yes you did help Clay... I'm going to keep the V curve, and keep the pitch curves the same for now as Derek suggested.. So thanks guys for the curves suggestions, and thanks to Kev and all else who gave suggestions. Don't think I'll bother with the motor change on this bird. I need a bigger one next year...

I think you did real well, Tony! Very brave to keep going out in the cold, lol.

I love the little comments you added. Very cool! And yes, the blades do sound good on that helicopter! I see that you forgot to set your timer again, lol.

What happened that caused the helicopter to get so close to the ground during that flight? Was it something with the helicopter or just pilot error? either way, you recovered well and had a great flying experience.

Yes I keep forgetting that dam timer, I've put a sticker on the tx now to remind me... Set it to 5 mins...

Wish I could get rid of the wobbles though, they really spoil the vids but I have no other way. Might buy a camera that has a camera shake facility in it.. This möbius doesn't..

Don't know why it nose dived, think that part of the ground has large magnetic field drawing heli to it....lol, it happened a few times but not as severe..

I'm just going to leave these curves now and enjoy the flying, get some practise in.. I'll use IU as much as possible. Eventually use linear pitch on IU when I can fly better than now...

Thanks for the support guys

No prob bud.. I watched it on my phone so the heli is a little small, but I heard u say the tail was wag'n... What controller do u have on it? What is ur gain set at in the transmitter? May be able to decrease the gain in the dx6 to get rid of the wag. I could hardly see.. Early too.. Need more coffee.. Good fly'n!

I'm using the Kbar, I've since changed the settings slightly in the tx gyro setup. At the moment it's at 40% for normal and 35% in IU, this is not representative of actual setting on the Kbar software. It's more like 60%. This is something I can play about with next time I'm on field, but rain is stopping today...

Thanks mate

I've just ordered a 12T and 11T pinion, I'm going to fit this Align motor. Runs at 3500kv. So dropping the gears should give me more torque. I'll try the 12T first... It's got a 14T pinion on now with a 3200kv motor.

Be careful I think your gearing was correct for the Align motor, dropping to 12 teeth would be a bit far I recon, which align motor the 450mx was 3400kv

No it's not that one mate, it's the one off my blade... Align RCM-BL450M 3500Kv

I can give it a go, nothing to lose really. Already have the motor, just ordered the pinions before...

I would still stick with the 14 tooth that's what comes with the stock kit,

I take your point mate, but there's nothing stock about this bird....lol, and when I got the heli off Treff he did say this motor may be underpowered. It won't harm to try, I can always change it back if no good...

That align motor should work fine since it was a stock motor for the 450. It should not be under powered at all. Worse that will happen is that it will fly.
