Goblin 500 with KDE upgrade bottom frame/battery tray

Anyone ever use the KDE upgrade bottom frame/battery tray piece for the Goblin 500? Serious piece of machining. Just wondering. Given that I expect I'll be putting a lot of flights and (likely) crashes on this thing this year, I'm springing for it. Hopefully will help the thing hold up better in a crash.

Any experiences out there?

Well, obviously I've not tried it because I don't have a Goblin 500 but I will say that many of those KDE upgrades look really really nice! Looks like great quality!!!

I'm geting one tray with it. Will see if it is worth the extra money to shell out to replace the other two battery trays I have.

Love every KDE product i own.. Including a motor for the 450. The battery try on my 450 has only been bent once in 2 yrs... Couldn't tell Ya how many crashes. Expensive... A little yeah... Worth it... Yes.

Well it showed up. Busy tonight (Billy Joel concert!) but should get to installing it this weekend and get the Gob 500 back in the air, along with the TRex 700. That'll clear the decks for the two new builds I have to do.
