Well crashed and totaled my Fusion 50 2 weeks ago .
And with it being very hard to get parts for it is no longer .I parted out the frame asm and kept some parts that can be used on its replacement
So here is whats on the table . My first go at a nitro heli

Thanks guys
I hope it works out got to get the gov set up in the K-Bar
I Also got to get the Main blades think im going to put 626mm Rail blades on it . Man them things are pricey $99.00 good thing I got a 20% off card
As far as the build the airframe is brand new the nitro motor has 3 break in tanks run on it and is a Novarossi REX R57HR-3DS .57 5 Port with the H5 pipe
Here is what it looks like under the hood

If I had fuel I could fire it up.
Hope it last more than the 7flight Fusion 50 HE HE
I sold off the Lipos to the Fusion and bought 2 full airframes for spare parts

I got a 10% off coupon for LHS for when I go get it
Plus the time you can fly on a gallon 30.00 is really not bad
If I fly Like I did this year a gallon will last me 2years LOL

Looks awesome. I'm curious to know how much it cost you to get set up with the fuel management system and the other accessories that go with nitro engines. It looks like quite an investment to get started???? I guess you find someone selling their equipment??

They sure sound bad AZZ!!!!

Yes Building a new kit they cost out the butt
I bought this airframe and engine second hand and got a smoking deal on it
The engine and pipe a loan new $470.00
So it cost a lot to build one

Fuel based models are very expensive. I am still considering a gasser but I need to finish getting my kit together. I still need a decent charger and radio. As for gassers I am looking at Gaui NX4G. Its the NX4 airframe with the Gaui gasser motor instead of the nitro motor. Fuel has longer flight times also.

So I played around with trying to make the governor work in the mini K Bar and its a no go Just not enough channels for it work like I want
I cant even Use a separate governor like the aline No channel to turn it on and off .
So next is to piggy back a RX to get the extra channels well than that means I have to buy a 7 or 8 channel RX any were from 50 to 100 for the rx
So got to looking they now have the full size K bar out. It will run the built in governor with just the back plate sensor and its only 43.00
Well thats on the way . The main blades are on the way . Now the weather stinks here. Maybe a wile before it gets in the air
