Cleanflight on my Naze32

I finally installed Cleanflight on my Naze 32.
It flew ok but no better than Baseflight so I started tweaking.
No matter what I did it seemed to get worse.
Out of frustration I ended up reflashing the board with a full chip erase to start from scratch.
That's when my problems really began.
It would not even fly, for the life of me I could not understand what was going on.
Every time I tried to lift off, it would just turn over on its back.
I tried backing off everything but nothing made a difference.
I was nearly ready to flash it back to Baseflight when I noticed one small detail I had neglected on setup.
I had forgotten to set the board orientation to yaw -90. I could have kicked myself.
I spent at least an hour and flattened 3 batteries trying to figure this out.

I now have a small text file labeled Naze32 setup that has all my preliminary setup steps. :)

Now I have 3x3 position switches that adjust PIDs in flight.
This time when it flew, and it did fly well, I was able to tweak the PIDs.
Still need more work but I am much happier now then I was a few hours ago.
The jury is still out as to how good Cleanflight is for me but inflight PID adjustment is a huge plus.

Keep it positive, -90 is equal to 270

I know right. :)
I had reflashed from scratch a couple of times and just missed it on the last one.
So easy to do.
Now with my check list, I won't do it again. :)

I have listed all the steps I take from flashing to PID setup in the order I do them so I have something to follow.

Note, these are for my quad and may be different for others.
