Looked for a camera protector and found an old gear from my Volitation coaxial. Love it.

Hey Graham, could you not use the landing gear off the Volitation for your quad... Just looked at mine and it certainly appears feasible

LOL great minds:) i did that yesterday, but so far i am happy with the standoffs:) If i get good enough to race like Dan, i will try to go lighter or another project:)

I done that in tarifa to the quad Lee built for me... Well if you want my landing gear off my vol then let me know, your welcome to it... You can have the whole heli coz its crap to fly.... Lmao

After the first hit, I mounted my cam further back inside the frame.

Yeah that's a better solution if you can, I see Graham's is quite a way forward of the frame, my lense cover is the only thing forward of the frame...

The lens protector makes it look worse than it is:) It is just the convex lens that stands proud of the frame:) I hit the grass nose first in the garden, so that made me put the gear on:) Very MadMax i think:)

Certainly is a madmax mod, but if it protects your cam then it's doing its job..

That's a good idea, guys! My camera sticks out a bit forward. Maybe I can find something to attach for some protection.

I did the same as Stambo and mounted my cam further back.
