I know right.. Matt moved from ATL.. Guess it was a year or so ago.. He's been working on that property hard to get it the way he wants.. Ponds, shooting range, motor cross track, fly'n fields... It's gonna be awesome!

Lot of people show up? I ask only because... do you get super nervous flying in front of talented pilots? You've got pretty good chops, don't get me wrong. I'm green with envy when you post your flight vids. But it's one thing to fly at an event with a lot of people around. The large crowd creates a sense of anonymity amongst the masses. But in a smaller group setting, not so easy to blend into the action.

Oh I choke! I suck at events. Nervous as hell. Don't wanna crash, don't wanna make maneuvers ugly, are they watching me.. Why are they laugh'n?... It all goes thru my head. And yeah.. The talent the other pilots show is definitely intimidating. I find my flights while alone or with a few local buds are much much better. And that piss's me off! I hate choking! Having said that.. There is another side to the coin. The guys I have met and become friends with have all been great.. Positive, helpful, inspiring, and genuine. Nick Maxwell for example... If u think with all his sponsors, talent, & experience that he would be unapproachable ud be wrong.. An awesome guy.. He'll stop in the middle of an event(the layed back fun flys..) and help u tune ur nitro or look at ur settings to tune ur FBL unit... U can stand right with him on the flight line and learn from him. Clint Akins from Castle.. Great pilot.. Help u anyway he can. The entire Synergy crew.. Same thing! Bunch of fantastic people and I love being around them. I have learned a lot.. And believe it or not.. Taught a few things.. I talk to a lot of the team weekly.. Some daily.. Matt & Amy Botos are the best! They care for their brand and the industry soo much and it shows! Team guys.. Levar Robinson (my wife calls him my boyfriend) and I fly together always.. Mike Spano.. Watched that guy improve so much this year it ain't funny.. Chris Sexton... Dude is smart as they come.. Can't get it figured out.. He'll show ya! The Synergy crew are amazing in all areas of the hobby. They make me feel welcome.. So what I'm saying is.. Big or small events don't matter.. I choke either way for the first couple hours.. After that I just fly and have fun with the crew. Everyone is all about it! Lol
