On the 25th I have another event with ARC as a real airshow. Should be fun. I'll give more info and stuff as it comes.. but here are links to ARC's event page and the Aviation Expo 2016. Thinking I'm gonna pay the $ for a real heli ride! Lol

Morning guys... The event was fantastic. ARC, we had the trailer with the simulator set up.. Vern & Eric brought a bunch of planes for static display.. Good times for sure. There are pics & videos on my FB page linked in the above post. Now we had a perpendicular flight line seperate of the full scale.. We did not fly at the same time as the actual show.. obviously.. But people were on approach and landing & we had a stretch of line which ended left at a static display of an Apache Longbow just short of the shows runway... On the right.. There was a guy doin monster truck rides and 2 pads that here giving R22 heli rides... Cones on each side not to be crossed. So... During my second flight.. My spotter said helicopter taking off as I was on approach toward the pads but in my airspace.. But he said helicopter taking off.. I knew to stay clear, so I bank away from my flight line and away from the cones (even tho I was not close yet at all)... As I'm banking around the helicopter came into my view... IN MY AIRSPACE!! Now I'm sure we were not "as" close as I perceived us to be... But it scared the ever living shit outta me. Couldn't get back in my zone after that.. Lol.. I was nervous enough before that. Lol.. Was scary & funny.. Anyhow.. Great day.

Next thing some spectator will have got a photo, sold it to the media and called it a near miss at an airport.

Lol.. Probably..
