Campo de Gibraltar annual fly in

Post by Lee »

I was at this event in September.
My first ever fly in, and what a day it was.
I'm not a member of the club, but at the end of the day, the club president invited me to fly there when ever i want?
Just found this video of the day. Its very well made, and there my own section in it :D

Thanks Graham,
It was a very interesting day to see so many other flyers.
Not just me in the middle of a beach :)

There is something about a fun fuly that's just amazing to see. When I saw helis doing thungs in real life it was like omg. It was some much better than video. The light reflecting off the blades, the sound the way the heli moved. You see things the camera does not pick up. It was crazy to see.

Great flight Lee. I'm sure I would be to nervous to fly in front of a crowd so extremely well done. Ho! was that what they call sunshine
I forgot what it looks like.

Actually in my experience it's actually better. I have yet to have a negative experience at a funfly. Even at my skill level I never felt intimidated or made to feel like a biginner.

I was way more nervous flying in front of people, than I do on my own.
Sun is disappearing quickly here to Treff.
