Man Cave:)

Post by Graham Lawrie »

http://youtu.be/-uHw6mK--tw

Got bored being off work sick, had to go into the loft due to a leaking roof due to the high winds blowing tiles off to put buckets to collect the water:( So i thought i would share my cave and try out the Mobius:)

Love that stuff.
I spent a lot of time spraying that stuff on MTBs when I worked for a MTB guiding holiday company.
I had to strip down all the bikes that came back from the resorts, and rebuild them for selling.

Holy Jumpingeehoseafats, Graham!
I've never seen anything like it...what an awesome "man-cave" and in the attic, no less? You've got more stuff than my local HobbyTown, I'd guarantee that! And you've done it all in just two years?!!! How do you stay warm up there in the winter?
I loved your tour, especially the audio...It's really incredible, when you think about it, that we can share videos, mail and pictures from our homes...from half way around the world, for almost nothing!!!! Who would have thought it...

Glad you're on the mend, Lad...please do more vids when you can!
All my best,
Terry

Cheers Terry glad you like it:) Loft is nice in the summer and freezing just now:( I have a small heater which takes the edge off it. I am only showing one half of the loft there:) the other half has my drum kit set up. But that side is still a work in progress:)

My Mrs knows i have collected a lot in 2 years in the hobby just entering my 3rd year now and all i can do is hover tail in, but crash in any orientation you want:) hence loads of parts.

Take care
G

Hey, and that's me, Graham...I'm still learning to get where you are. Collective pitch is like "balancing a marble on the center of a dinner plate!" :? Man, that is so true! But, I'm never gonna give up...even at my age! :o I know I'll get it because I love it...it's that simple! :) I have plenty of replacement parts for all my helis too! It's the first thing I do after buying a new bird, ever before I try to "fly" her for the first time! My collection isn't as cool as yours, but it works for now.

How long have you been "drumming" and what kind of set have ya got in the other "wing" of your Man Cave? I noticed a picture of "THE Four Lads" above your work table and they are my all time favorite! 8-)

All my best to you and yours,
Terry

Hi Terry:) Been drumming since i was 16, first thing i bought at college:) couldn,t play, still cant but always wanted to:) I have a 7 piece ASAMA old TAMA with Maxwin concert tom toms. I have several snares, Chad Smith signature brass shell, Premier pipe band tortoise shell S700, which i rebuilt, found it in bits in a market in Glasgow for £35 and spent £85 on parts over 30 years ago:) and a cheap Chinese piccolo.

I also have an Irish Bodhran:)
My wife just bought me a cheap Cajon Drum for Xmas which i am learning to play.

Picture is signed by them when filming 6 miles from my house:)
Perseverance is necessary to establish perfection:)
All the best Terry:)

"Words of wisdom, Graham...words of wisdom!
Your drum set sounds like the "cats' pajamas" and I bet you're better than you let on, Lad! :o
Your Mrs. sounds like a "keeper" (like mine) who loves us enough to support our passions and hobbies! I got new heli for Christmas from mine...
No way!, G...if you ever want to sell that picture, just drop me a line!

All the best my friend, to you and yours!

Wow, after seeing this I am too embarrassed to even think about showing mine.
Very organised chaos, I would love mine to be that organised.
I guess having a whole house to myself things tend to spread out a bit. :)
