Just got checked in at Holiday Inn in Statesville NC.. Keena's grandmother passed away so we drove up here for services & funeral... 99yrs she made it.. Knew she was get'n close.. Doesn't make it any easier for Keena.. But she lived a full life for sure. Anyhow... I'm gonna be doin a lot of nothing this weekend.. The post I had planed will wait.. Have to take a "no fly" card as well. I'll be around here a bit in the gaps that I have nothing goin tho.

Family has all gathered here after the service.. Lots of people... Kids tuning the yard & fields.. Good food.. Only down side is it's the day of the funeral and Grandma isn't here.. I'm actually ready for a nap.

Thanks again guys for the good thoughts/condolences... Back home now.. Kids were outside playing as they normally do at grandmas and all the family was there.. Actually was nice to see all the family & kids together.. After the service we actually had a good time together in remembrance...

It wasn't a bad as most funerals go.. Save the service itself.. She was 99.. It was somewhat expected.. I tell ya tho.. Her mobility had faded in recent years... But her mind was still pretty sharp.. Amazing really... One never knows..
