Is this about that riot Clay? Not sure what went on there, guy gets shot by policeman, apparently surrendered but the cop still killed him...

I'm pleased guns are prohibited in UK, can't imagine what it's like to walk the streets with people holding firearms....must be a scary place

It's not scary at all, Where I live in PA we have the largest population of sportsmen and people are very responsible. It's not like the movies where it's a shoot out all the time. I grew up with guns and they were/are a tool for many who harvest game animals, (hunters)

The issue in Missouri is a sad case of disrespect of the law and a person not listening to an officer and fighting him and trying to take his sidearm, it became an issue of self-defence for the officer and it took a Grand jury 3 months to decide not to charge the officer.

The riots are race driven and do nothing but stirr up more crime and disrespect for rules and law. If only these people would put that kind of effort into teaching respect and morals and education the world would be diffrent.

All the reports I have heard indicate that Gerald,

When they say a white cop shot a black kid,

It would not seem bad if they said

A police officer shot an offender

I agree it would be better to say the officer shot an offender.
The loss of any life is sad, I don't want to lessen the impact of a loss of life.
The young man was 18 years old, why did he resist the officer? just a bad situation!

Unfortunately we live in a sad world:( Had the officer been shot, who would have rioted then? Would the impact on his family involve looters? Such sad times and as usual the minority spoil it for us:(

The fact that a shot was fired is bad enough. When an officer uses escalation of force he is condemned. The problem here in the USA is not the firearms themselves, its the criminals pulling the trigger that is a problem. The folks of ferguson are making it worse for themselves by rebelling.

I still can't wrap my head around this CRAP! Why is the media continuing to publicize this as a race issue. It's a criminal issue... And should be shown as such.. This officer responded to a call of robbery... Proven via security footage.. Assaulting the clerk/owner of the store... Not a kid.. Rather large 19yr old... That's a man, not a child. Upon finding the suspect.. He assaults the officer and try's to take his side arm while beating him... Who in their right mind gives a ~#^_ what colour the man that's doin this to u is? Lie'n eye witness.. Why.. All evidence supports the officers claim.. The guy was not running away or hand up to surrender as these false eyewitness reports claim.. Nope.. Evidence show the guy was all on the officer.. Id have been in fear of my life.. I'd have shoot him too! None of this has been portrayed in the light of fact or truth. Then the community... My god.. How do these actions help? Burning down the businesses that support, serve & employ ur community... Really.. I'm sooo pissed. What kind of message does this send? Several of u reading this are foreigners to the States... What picture does this paint of us? These people choose this.. They have the same chances I have... Education.. Rights, choices... Sure life rolls the dice for each of us... It's how we deal with it that matters.. Helps us grow...... Dude I could rant on this crap all night... PISSED! aaaauuurrgg!
