Do you have to have a certain number of posts before you can enable avatar features?

As far as I'm aware there isn't a minimum post count before you can upload an avatar. Have you tried to upload one and it's failed?

Be sure to "resize" your avatar to within the appropriate dimensions. I had a hard time, at first, with my avatar until I finally got it resized properly.

I don't have an option to upload it says it's disabled. Maybe you guys have something set that limits until you have a certain number of posts?

WOW! I didn't see that one before! I'm sure Dan can get this straightened out for you.

You should be able to upload an avatar now. I don't know if Paul had disabled them for new users or if it is just the default setting.

I had then disabled for new users. Enticement to post and get involved. Also can't edit or delete your posts. Not sure any of it is really necessary. Just seemed like there should be some kind of "goal" for new users with some rewards.

Figured that was the case although I think I was able to edit. Pretty standard when you join a forum.

maybe it was only delete I disabled for new members. Can't remember anymore. It's all a blur.
