Last night, as with mist nights; I was on YouTube trying to find case ideas. I came across coolice again and this time I am floored by what he has done. He has some of the cleanest and coolest builds so far. I am sure he charges a shload for his cases.
So on to what this is about. He has designed his PSUs thing into a complete add on for anyone. It has all the things I am looking for. It reads the volts of the 12v side and 24v side as well as a possible 36v side. He also can read the Amos of all outputs, temps and he has the ability to set ovc and uvc limits. Other cool things is that you can add multi colored LEDs to the case and those will change color based on amp output. This feature limit is set by the user. While charging it will cycle through the colors and done it will hold a steady green.
The unit is operated by a simple rotary push dial with a 12 caracter 2 row screen. It even has blutooth which is still in development.
How much you ask somewhere in the ball park of £47. Not bad for this add on.

Very nice case. All the stuff he does is really good.
My PSU is working really well, and so is the bluetooth dongle I bought from him.

I really like his cases. Very well built and clean. I saw the one he did for what her name, belloit I think. The Spanish behind the back female.

Don't quite understand why you need a phone and Bluetooth connection like for something that's right next to you... Beats me...I would have used a bigger graphics display, only £5 off eBay..

Evening Guys.
Sorry, I have only just found out about this site and posts here.
First of all thank you for the kind words on the IceMeter and my charge case builds, it's greatly appreciated.
The IceMeter is the next step up from my basic protection circuit, which was developed to address some chargers weakness to sudden drops in voltage during a charge cycle.
Murankar has covered it's feature list nicely (thanks mate), so I won't go over them again. Units have been fitted into quite a few of my case builds now and individual IceMeters have been sent out to customers to incorporate into their own case builds.
Since I made the video above, a friend and customer has coded a small program which is Windows compatible that connects via Bluetooth and displays the main parameters such as volts, amps etc.
I am hoping to develop an Android application that will do the same, I have brought some software to write the app but PSU and charge case orders is preventing me spending major time on learning Java code, so it's on the To-Do list.
Just tonight I have spoken to my partner and designer of the two protection circuits about another little addition I will be marketing soon, which will make connection of two HP DPS-1200 units much easier.
I don't have any photos yet, but when I do I will post them.
Ian
