This is a video that I just saw on Youtube. Dunkan Bossian at the Orlando Heli Blowout 2014 and some other pilots from Team Spin Blade. Awesome Awesome Awesome!
I do have to ask.....at 56 seconds into the video, Dunkan is doing an insanely fast pirouetting circle. While the helicopter is pirouetting that quickly, how in the world to you control the helicopter's direction?

He has a switch that basically turns off the tail gyro. Thats why it spins so fast.
As for how, thats why hes the world champ

You mean where he's flying the inverted circle while in free spin mode? Just timing very small cyclic moves to keep it moving in the circle. Maybe count out every 2nd or 3rd piro and feed a smidge of cyclic. And it's not even counting. More like feeling the beats of music at that point. ziz-ziz-ziz tap ziz-ziz-ziz tap That's my guess at least.

Very totally awesome! Yeah, it's always cool when a few helicopters are in the air at the same time. It's shame the one crashed.

That's a very possible educated guess, Paul. I was just sitting here, earlier today, trying to wrap my head around that maneuver....just unbelievable!
