Well got to find out whether I got a good deal or a holed bucket, and it's a good deal by the look of it,
Battery was at 8.27v
Output at 5.12v
Cells within 0.005v of each other,
Bingo, me likey,

And here is the lead I have made to charge with, snipped two wires from a 2s balance lead extension and crimped in a jst plug, compliments of my cropper tool, a little heat shrink to tidy it up, job done,

Hi Kev, checked after i read this:) My connection is different from yours? I take it was something the previous owner did. Its a servo connection on mine , 2 pins only ground and live. I plugged it in to my Icharger with the balance lead and i am getting an over current warning? I am assuming it is because it is fully charged.
This jogged my memory when i first charged it, it was with a Deans connector to servo plug and NO balance lead connected.
I will run it down in the next day or so and try again and see what happens:)

I need to get serious about getting this BUG for my 600 and maybe even my 500. Just in case....

Graham the red and black that go into the servo plug (just out of shot in my picture) are output wires and don't allow you to charge through them, they go through the circuit board that detects the low voltage for the bug to kick in,
Post a pick up of yours let's have a look, but you have a Trex 150 charge cable you can just plug the balance plug straight into that and charge it, or use the 150 charger,
Derek I don't know if this will find its way to the 500 think I wanted it for bench work more than anything, but you never know,

I've been charging the battery for my fatshark goggles with a trex 150 balance lead it works great. They came with a charge lead but the 150 cable was in my charge station so I just used that.
