Just got off of my 12 night shift. My mother in law tells us she found us a car. Apparently a lady at the church my mom in law works at wants to sell her a van for a $1. The van is for my wife and I. Sounds to good to be true but it is true. We should have it this weekend.

Nice thing we will have 2 mini vans now. I get the dodge and the wife will get the venture. Anyhow its really good news. First thing in thought was portile heli station. That's not for a while though.

That's really fantastic, Matthias! Very good news! A nice van for $1 is an awesome deal. My in-laws bought my wife and I a van for Christmas. Very very cool!!!

As for the condition, from my understanding this lady was habitual about keeping up with it. All maintenance was done at the dealership she bought it at. It is "fully loaded" video screens and player with a few extras, well it is a 2003 so who knows what other extras there are. ZThe situation as I know it is that the lady no longer needs the van and she has attempted to sell it but no one has mad an offer. The license plats are set to expire this weekend and she just wants it gone. One thing I may have to fix in it is going to be the driver power window. I think the motor maybe shot or going out and it has a brand new exhaust system on it. What sucks is the plates are asap, and I am not sure how we want to set this up. I think this van is going to be in the wifes name just so we can space out the cost of the plates, because our current van is going to be due next month.

Paul: If I did not have this current van note I surely would give her more than a dollar. I am happy about the deal but saddened that I cant do anything beyond that before the week end. My civilian pay was shorted by 36 hours due to my Army weekend and the Army is not paying up till after the 28th. Just really bad timing.

Lee: I did get a goblin for $.50 it was supposed to be a surprise, lol. If I happen on a $.50 Goblin you all would be the first to know.
