Some of you may remember that a guy came to my door last month when his sons DJI flew away:(

I spoke to him this morning and got the full story and its general direction. The good news is his insurance paid out and he got another and only had to pay £50 excess:)

It turns out as i suspected he did not do the calibration!!

He has now asked me for my help to set it up:)

Lesson learnt i hope:)

Hey G!
Top of the morning, to you Lad!
No way...I didn't know you could get insurance?
I know those DJI copters are way expensive though!
Glad it worked out and the boy couldn't be in better hands!

All the best!
Terry

He's a lucky lad getting insurance money... Bet he's pleased he has you at hand to help sort his quad out... Nice one... Hmmmm I wonder if I can insure my quad against water damage. Lmao

I'm about 18,275,798 feet away, in a southwesterly direction!
But, I feel like I'm right next door! :)

All my best, G!

That's just in the ballpark, Tony...give or take a foot or so!
Google Earth picked that coordinate value for Kinlochleven on y'all's end! :) Wasn't too far from the High School?
I was only sure about my end! lmao Pegged my house and lot dead center!
It's a "fer piece" is all I know!

All my best, you guys!

I think with the history of Naza based flyawys and lockups if ever I got one I would put a receiver controlled switch between the bec and the Naza.
That way it it decided to leave on its own I could at least stop from losing it altogether.
Ok it will hit the deck but that's better than losing everything.
