and hopefully haven't been forgotten folks! How are you all!?

I have been doing some flying but not too much. Since thanksgiving last year I haven't flown more than a couple flights. Anyway. I am wanting to get back into the swing of things.

My fleet has solidified to the trex 700notro dfc, JR. vibe 50 big block, whiplash gasser , RV-8 plane on Saito 72 4 stroke motor , 180CFX and lastly the nano qx. Yeah winter did that to me.. Wanted to fly inside the house so got the nano qx

Yesterday I flew , nitro 700 and the plane were the only things flying... Broke the clutch in flight on the nitro (felt pretty bad a** lol) and plane never took off as the engine mount came loos somehow. So at this point my FULL fleet including the nano qx is grounded . Lots of building / fixing ahead . That excites me!!


That's wassup with me . I have gotten many people in my office hooked on quads... Like 5 I think. And counting . They aren't at the RC craze point yet. Exocet for one guy! So yes I have converts!!! Hahahahahah their wives and or husbands curse me!!! Lol

I'm fixing up my Gob 500 (put it in during a 1st day of winter fun fly). Bought a Gob 570 and an Edge 540 (first plane!) that I have yet to build. Working working working. Also got some snow here finally so I've been snowmobiling and snow blowing the driveway.

You gotta post up some vid of that RV-8 in action. Didn't know you had a plane.

Congrats on the mid-flight clutch destruction (didn't think I'd ever write those words).

My winter has been a costly one.
Goblin 570 went in, Warp 360 went in twice.
All packed away in a cupboard until I start work again, and can afford to fix them
Got all the locals here hooked on quads too. I have built five now. Just finished another for a guy up the road.

So far this winter ive written off a 41" edge 540, and started FPV with mini quads (just about to start another build, waiting on the postman).

FPV seems to have taken over me (Stambo's voodoo)

I am trying to save up pennies .. (Not going so well by the way) for a goblin gasser. I came so close to getting one last year. Man! There is apparently a 570 gasser in the works.. I am waiting impatiently ... Lol

But hey!!!! Here is a pic of the latest update to my whiplash gasser. Haven't flown yet. Botched an auto two weeks ago, Need new servo arms and re centering .. But it looks BAD A** too
The second pic is of comparison of a RJX muffler and a tuned pipe .. Tuned pipe will only fly at one setting (one its tuned for ) while rjx make power at a little wider range . This is the first time I am going fly a tuned pipe. I am giddy excited!

RV-8 is an awesome plane Paul! It's got just enough stability to help a beginner like me get hang of graceful landings . And it has flaps stock, so I can play with them to see how the characteristics change . I have hovered it horizontally in high winds up high with just the right power and flaps deployed. It's fun to mess with that thing. I was hoping to fly it last weekend , but man.. Can't believe a firewall screw somewhere came loose. In LOVE with the 4 stroke sound!!


Uri i have been travelling bro. Last year between October and December I went to panama, Nicaragua and brazil. This year , in March I head to Dubai, and then in April : Brazil , UK, Germany, and then July Brazil again. Lol it's going to be nuts. I travelled with my blade 180cfx to Brazil last time. It's going everywhere with me again! Lol yep. I love that little sucker.

We had layoffs in the company, and some of my good friends in the department got laid off, so that was sad, but has also created more work now for me . And then my family gifted me an upgrade for my mustang (power brakes) , so obviously I spent three weeks slowly tearing apart the old brakes and wrongly don't wiring in the car, and redoing it all while installing the power brakes. Finished two weeks ago. So decided it's time for some RC-ing!

Sup.. Good to see u on.. Sounds like a lot'a RC work ahead of u.. U will be glad to know I have joined the nitro crew.. Small set back but it's about done.. N5C.. U can see the thread "it begins" in the build section if ya want... Already burnt a hole in the cylinder.. Unlike u. & ur clutch.. I didn't like the way it made me feel. Anyhow.. Good to see u on.. Stop being gone so long.
