Thanks Graham, sounds like that one RCH had. I tried that but it never did work properly... I just use safari on my iPad, works a treat.. Never go on forum with phone as its too small to see being a blind old buga...

My phone has a screen just over 5 inches corner to corner. Its a fairly large screen for a cell phone. Forum runner uses less data to surf a forum. Thats my main reason for using it. Plus it puts all the forums i use (2 atm) in one place. Very easy and simple.

I grabbed the app ($2) to try things out. Not bad. Interface is a bit clunky to me, but workable. On the phone it is a big help since using the forum web interface is tedious on the phone. But on the tablet I still prefer using the web site directly.

One tning i noticed so far is that fr does not show a difference between read and unread posts. i will check again just to make sure.

Yeah. I noticed that too. When I use the most recent posts tab the read and unread threads show up with a gray or blue marker respectively (where the post count is). But when inside the thread there is no indication of read vs unread. However tapping the unread thread will bring me directly to the first unread post in the thread, so it isn't that big a deal for me.

I'd have to dig into how te forum runner mod works to see if there is something we can do to make read vs unread show up in the forum runner app.
