RC-Hangout

While it's nice to have warmer temperatures... Mother Nature is definitely a woman(no pun intended)... Wind one day, rain one WEEK, back to a cold day... Couple hours of good.. Back to rain.. aaauurrgg!!! I know some of u guys have it ruff weather wise... A lot more than I.. But this is my weekend off! Yesterday I spent the majority of the day doin chores & was gonna spend the eve at the field w the fellas.. Even got there a little early.. Beautiful day... The wife called and wanted to go to the Greek Fest down town when she got off work... So I spent a whopping hour & a half at the field... Truck loaded too.. 450..550..N5C..RCX..transmitter box..battery box..charger/power supply box..starter box..fuel..table..chairs..canopy..generator...cooler iced w sodas. Ready for some serious RC fun! Didn't even get unloaded & set up.. Burned off 4 packs on the 550 & 3 packs on the quad. I said "I'll go in the morning".. Went to the Festival and did enjoy time with the family... But I wanted to fly... So then I woke to this crap!

I feel bad for ranting now.. I did have fun w my family.. It was a good day.

Just not your weekend Clay... It sucks.... I'm sure I've seen that pic somewhere before....lol

Weather here has been hit or miss. I got lucky today, started off cloudy at 1000 then by 1200 it was sunny. I got out in the front yard today and worked on more tuning. I think I am almost ready for the big field.

if it make you feel any better clay i made the 30 min walk to a field got there and had zero response from the rudder on my quad and the it starts doing piros all on it own (very gracefully might i add), I had flashed it last night and took it for granted that it would all work. Ha fool!

And to top it off its just taken me 2 hours to reflash it, stupid com port error.

Nice looking family clay. Not too much better here bro last week was great low to mid 70s this it snowed one day been mostly 40-50 all this week and rained this weekend n here at my ladies graduation now

I know how that feels dude! Never mind, at least the family are happy, just fly twice as long to make up for it next time!

And film the nitro, lol. Awesome machine.
