				Did I cook my 3GX?

I haven't had to bind my 3GX in like forever but when I did I forgot about the bottom row of pins. Easy to do on a 3GX mounted in the frame of a 450 PRO. See my illustration. Would putting the bind where I did kill the unit????

Even if you did insert it like illustrated to the right, I do not think you're gonna do any harm.

I dont think you'd do any harm either. Have you tried to bind the helicopter yet? what's it doing? what's it not doing?

Motor chirps but no lights on the 3GX. Checked plug for power, sending 5 volts from ESC. Doesn't sound good. I'm thinking it happened before I tried to bind it. May just have been it's time not really sure but it won't start up.

Well I just discovered I was trying to power up with the satelite unplugged. So I tried to bind it, the satelite comm light was flashing as normal but nothing on the 3GX. Tried again and now the comm light doesn't come on either.

They are almost giving them away on Ebay, $25 to $45 dollars. IKON are selling for $225 and 3GX around $100. I may try it because of the price.
Thanks

I second the Kbar, I've had 2, very easy to setup and super stable in flight. Cheap as chips too
