My Gaui X3 has KST DS215MG servos for the swashplate and tail. I didn't like the 215 for the tail because you have to use little adapters to hold the servo in and it would slowly loosen up after a few flights

. So this time I purchased new one's
http://www.ebay.com/itm/221858545271 but the tail servo will be different. The tail servo will be KST DS565X and it's made to fit in without adapters. I should get them in the mail today. Can't wait to install them

. The old ones will be pack up servos.

Yes full sized servos are better for the X3. You still have to use the plastic triangle deal with it though. I would CA the bolts into it if they are backing out. Biggest difference is that the plastic part will have three bolts in it instead of just 2.

Thank you murankar. I wasn't to sure about using CA. I think your not suppose to use loc-tite on plastic

No threader locker. One it wont hold and 2 it will eat the plastic. Use a couple drops of Medium CA and let it sit.

I thought so too! The KST DS565XMG servo didn't work when I plugged it into the AR7200BX

. After a week fighting with them about the servo not working and just wanted to exchange for another

. They're telling me now that servo, 565x needs a 3 axis gyro in order to work!

Does anyone know anything about this servo or what they're talking about?

The KST DS565X servo, after getting it to work, flew very well for me

. I'll start using this tail servo from here on in on my X3 instead of the KST DS215MG. Here's a little clip

How'd you fix it?

Dummy me didn't realize the tail servo was 760 pulse length

I never use anything less then 1520 so I assume

. I went into the AR7200BX to letter "C" and changed it from factory settings "1520" to "760". I'm always learning something new!
