Preferred Flight Controller Poll
Thought is get an idea of who is using what... I'll be using a CC3D and Groundstation... So... State controllers u have expierence with and tells us which u prefer & why... Also.. Which programs (ground station, baseflight, cleanflight, etc..)have u used? which one do I like best & why?

Re: Preferred Flight Controller Poll
I use the Naze32 acro running cleanflight and I love it. It is really easy to get flying and there is so much information available.
Getting it flying well and being happy with it are 2 different things though.
I am constantly tweaking in pursuit of that extra smooth video.
I still have a quad running a KK2 but that will eventually be switched to Naze32 also.
KK2 was a good beginner board and got me flying ok but my Naze32 gave me the biggest boost of confidence and got me to being what I consider a reasonable Miniquad pilot.
I also have a Hobbyking Crius AIO clone that I bought for the GPS and Alt hold capabilities.
I never got that to fly smooth but with the PID tuning knowledge I have gained from the Naze32 I may go back to it and try again.

Very good Clay.... Well......
I've had the CC board, the full naze32 board and currently got the naze32 and the cc3d boards..
Firmware, I've had openpilot and cleanflight..
The first quad that Lee built for me with the CC board and OP firmware was super stable and so easy to fly, it was just great. Till I drowned it in a river, never was the same...
Got the full Naze board after that with CF on it, so easy to setup too and tweak the PID's... Unfortunately that's on the moors somewhere...lol, Dan gave me a cc3d board with OP on it and that was easy to setup too but for some reason, probably my fault I couldn't fly it fpv. Dan gave me a Naze board which I've just finished setting up with CF 1.8 stable version. Again easy to setup which is the main reason I like CF. Plus everyone else seems to have it so if I have a problem then it's usually easy to sort out... Can't test the quad at mo as its too late.. To dark.. So I'll test in morn..

Re: Preferred Flight Controller Poll
Been using Open Pilot since the first board they made.
Now have the CC3D.
Love the ground station. I find it much more intuitive than the Nase options.
Unless you watch videos on youtube to help you get started, the cleanflight and base flight, are not as good.
Open Pilot walks you through the set up, and you can hover over any option and it will tell you what it does and how changing it will affect the vehicle.
As far as which flies better, I think they both fly well on there defaults.
I was under the impression, that the Nase was easier to tune, but so far with my Flip32 board, its been just as hard as the CC3D to get perfect.
