Removing the heat shrink from my 20A Afro ESC to hot glue the capacitor i dislodged a component, not sure what it is? Is it repairable?

Think this is a good one for Tony:)

It's a capacitor mate, should be easy to solder back in...

not knowing what part of the circuit its on its hard to say mate... i certainly wouldnt power it up without soldering it on though Graham... could be just a decoupling cap, or could be part of the processors circuitry. if its the former then it will power up OK....can you solder it back on?

can you follow the tracks and see if they go to the same 2 pads as the BIG cap... if they do then its decoupling...

Looks like it goes on the two pads in between the red and yellow wires,

is that the red and yellow that go to the FC, or the red and yellow that go to motor... if former then its to reduce high frequency noise, so it will probably work ok, certainly doubt it will catch fire.... but id still solder it back on...LOL

It did come off between the red and yellow wire, and they are the motor wires:)

Don't power it up mate, solder it back on....if you can't do that send me it, I do this for a living....
