Why oh why did I flip it over in Normal mode.
What and idiot.
Well, I seem to have escaped with one broken skid arm. Which was already broken, and I have a spare.
I won't do that again, for a while anyway LOL

I've done that once myself Lee. The damage to mine was far worse than that. Very lucky escape.

Damnnn... Happens... I did it to my 450 one time right after a repair too.. I did away with normal mode all together.. I use idle up 1, 2, & 3 on all my iKon birds. Can't with the BX cause it won't initialize if it doesn't see "0".. So if bailout is used it won't see it... Anyhow.. Have u tried it without a normal mode.. If not try it.. I like it. U can set a low headspeed for 1, a sport/mild 3d headspeed, and kick ass headspeed! Lol.. Try it.

Fun to learn old lessons again. Worst part is afterwards knowing you've done it before.

Ouch. Yeah I got rid of all my normal modes. Linear pitch curves and flat throttle curves with soft start esc/gov.
On bx I use throttle cut on the bind button to send the needed 0 input for initial and to reset soft start on cc esc gov after throttle hold/autorotation bailout.

Wow Lee! I can only imagine the thoughts running through your head at that time. Thankfully the damage is minimal.

I have 0,30,30,30,30 for normal mode.
Using Castle and Ikon. I'm sure when I set it up, I needed to have 0 to get things to initialise.
I used Jesse from RCHNs set up for Ikon and Gov with Castle.
All my other helis haven't had normal modes.
Well, i'll be looking over the tail today, as thats what it landed on.

That was unlucky. You almost had a save there Lee. Had a bit of luck myself yesterday. Got fed up with the weather so went out up
the mountain near here. Very low cloud base. Popped it up and it disappeared. I think it still up there lol It seemed to take an eternity
to come back into sight. I should have gone into iu1 and powered it back down. This heli seems to hang in the air. Cheers

No, with ikon running the gov & bail out, throttle hold will do for it see "0"... That was a good crash if u could ever call one good. U did awesome job save'n it bud!

If I put 30 across the board, it won't initialise.
I may have to adjust the throttle signal for Throttle hole.

It should be "0" if I recall.. I think all throttle settings take place in iKon.. Have to re-read my stuff to be honest.

30 60 100 for throttle curves. Hold at 0. Will init if you have esc endpoints programmed correctly.
If using cc esc's governor then set hold at 8ish and set throttle cut to -130 on a switch of your choosing (I use bind/trainer button). You'll have to hit throttle cut to init and to reset to normal soft start if you land and want to take off again.
