Flight and crash of the Lil Green Speeder

This plane was modeled after the "Experimental Airlines Noob Tube". The difference was that I put the wing on the underside of the plane, instead of the top. I've had over 20 flights with this plane and I believe the cause of the crash was the right aileron servo gave out. I was going to strip the electronics off the plane and move on but after looking at the damage closer...I spent about 20 minutes repairing the plane. A new servo, a bit of hot glue, a few gift cards (for reinforcement), a bit of green Duck Tape.....and the plane is repaired and ready for more action.

Yep....it happens. I had 6-7 crashes through 2014. This was crash number 1 for 2015, lol. But....like I said...this plane has been repaired and is ready for more action.

It really was a good day of flying. A crash is bound to happen when a servo goes out, lol. The servo has been replaced and the plane has been repaired. We'll see this plane again.

"A long lapse???" Yeah...the flybable weather sure did take its time getting here, this year. I've been on the sim quite a lot this year and I'm sure that my heli flights will reflect my sim time.
As for this flight...definitely short and sweet, lol. Prior to the crash, it was flying quite well. I went to circle around and it just went down. I did get the plane repaired after about 20 minutes and it's ready for my next day off....next week.

Your flying time is certainly suffering from all these work hours... But. No work, no play....

Yeah, all this work is definitely interfering with my flying. Hopefully all this mandated overtime will pass soon.
