Today is the monthly Army gig. Physical fitness test to start the day. Not going to be a smooth weekend. Back to work Tuesday night.

Today so far is great and bitter at the same time. Its great because I passed my physical fitness test. Its bitter because I missed the pt excellence patch by 7 points. To earn it you need 90% or more in each event, which is a 270 of better. I scored a 270 but my pushups score is 83%, hence the 7 points. In the end I passed and that's all that really matters. This weekend is going to be an easy one but boring.

As for missing it the military, you could very disappointed. It has changed with the generations. Things are softer and gentler than they used to be. I was in the Marines and worked with the navy everyday for a year. I enjoyed every bit of that year. I went to the Mediterranean sea twice for 2 6 month deployments. Saw many cities and countries. Spain greece France Romania turkey Italy to name a few. Coasta del sol is the fashizzle. Nothing but partying Ibiza was the same way. 23 hour disco techs what more can one ask for.
