QX90c binding problems :(

Hey everyone. My Qx90c wont get ready to bind to my DX6 gen2. This is my second one. The first QX90c, I used all the electronics onto my TBS Xracer that wouldn't work for me. That QX, I had no problem binding and was working well til one of my motors pots came off and I think I cant weld it. That's why I bought a second one for back up. The second is not being cooperative. My blue light flashes slow vs fast flashing for binding and the orange light stays constantly on. I've tried every combo, set spektrum_sat_bind=9 & (DSMX)and =5 for(DSM2)... ect but nothing. I didn't try close bind since I don't know what that means Can anyone help me or point me in the right direction. I appreciate it the help, Thank you

Thanks Graham Lawrie. The bind=0 didn't work either I guess I'm stuck with another quad that doesn't work. I'll keep trying something.

Does it have a separate satellite to bind to?

Hey Graham Lawrie. Thanks for helping About the separate satellite to bind to, No on that. The github, I haven't tried that yet. I need a break for now. I really think the flight board is not working properly, bad one maybe

Well I've tried github like Graham Lawrie mention and no luck. So I went into clean flight and reset the settings. This time when I plugged the battery in, the motors started spinning . No Tx control but at least I know the the motor works and fC board works. The trick is now to get it to bind to my TX so I can have control of those non controlled motors I don't understand how one QX90c worked fine and the second one I ordered for back up is a pain in the butt I'll keep trying!

Hello. My new QX90c should arrive tomorrow. I was wondering on the old QX "Doesn't Bind" if there's anyway to wipe out the F3 evo flight board and start allover again so I can bind it to my Spektrum DX6. I'm really bum out that I spent $70.00 on the quad and it just sit. I got the motors to spin and not to spin so I'm thinking there's nothing wrong with the flight board but just can't get it to communicate to my radio I can use it for spare parts but what a waste. I would like to have a back up ready to go when the other one breaks. Just like my helis, if one goes down I have back up If anyone can help or point me in the right direction, it would be appreciated by me . If not I"ll understand and I'll right this quad as a lose.

I had trouble with a micro not binding and it turned out that particular one did not like me having the TX to close during bind.
I ended up putting the TX in the next room and it worked fine.

Hey there Stambo. Yeah, I gave that a tried also and nothing. It just sucks that I spent $70.00 for nothing when I could of use that money toward my helis fund. Oh well shit happens.

Hi guys, found this forum while encountering the same problem last night trying to set my new QX90C up. I found their solution and thought I'd post it here.

If you have the problem with the newer version that comes with this binding guide:

I tried it last night and can confirm it actually does work!
I had to do the CLI bind procedure a few times for some reason, didn't work properly on the first two but got a successful bind on the third.
