Clean flight update?

Well I'm stuck again. When I connect to clean flight, a notice pops up and states, "The filmware on this device needs upgrading to a newer version." I have no idea are they talking about cleanflight, the quad I got plugged into the computer or update the computer filmware. Two of my quads, I can't get into cleanflight. The shuriken 180 needs to be bootloader jumpped. I've tried but it doesn't want to jump for me. I'm bumming. Three quads down, two FPV gogles and 2 tracks that haven't seen no action in awhile . Any ideas will be appreciated with this filmware. Thanks

Use the alien tool to get ur board in dfu mode... it's by far the easiest way.. & u shouldn't need to use the jumper with it.. I never do. Hold on I'll send u a link.

Download this.. plug ur board into the USB port & then open the tool.. it will detect ur board and set it to dfu.. then open cleanflight, betaflight, or kiss.... whatever u r using.. do a full upload of the firmware u want.. close the program.. unplug.. plug back in & open cleanflight or whatever.. it rocks in my opinion.. way better than the tool cleanflight suggest u to use.. check it out.
