What else can go wrong :(

As most of you know, I have been waiting for a new job since August last year. I've been told it will start sometime this month.
Well now its even more important. My wife has been laid off for a month and will start again in March.
Not too bad.
But then the tenant in our apartment has done a runner without paying his rent, or the bills for a month. He also took the keys so we had to change the locks. And stole all the bed linen, pillows and cushions, and a very nice woven laundry basket from the house. So we had to make a trip to ikea to replace it all. Some people are just evil.

I know things will work out soon enough. As long as we have our health, nothing else matters. Just got to keep smiling :D

sucks.....I've been thinking of buying a second house and renting my current one. Becoming a landlord doesn't sould like a lot of fun though.

You're absolutely right though...as long as you and your family have your health and are together, that's all that really matters!

I'm sure you and Celia will get back on your feet soon Lee, it's pretty shit when someone pulls a stunt like that. I know you two are very happy and are a great couple to know, this won't stand in your way and you will both get by. Celias company should have at least gave her half wages for that month. That's just out of order... Keep smiling mate.

Some good news today.
Our apartment was rented to a nice young couple. They want it long term, with a possibility of buying it in the future :D
Thats one less thing to worry about.
