Thanks G, I'll do a new thread of the truck when we pick it up at 10 today...

That board looks good mate, uses proper switching regulator, more efficient. Less heat dissipation... Looks like a good choice, just don't exceed its current rating of 2 amp... That's good for most stuff on a quad...

I just tried the second one I have.
It's the same as the first.
12vwhen nothing is on, but drops to 4v as soon as a load is on it.

I'll be going back to my first ever diy pdb at this rate. :)

It's probably the track work Lee, too thin and too narrow to carry any current....

That was just hot glue :D
I took a piece of copper tubing. Cut out a section and flattened it.
Cut into triangles and glued it to a piece of plywood, then put it on a sanding disc to make the copper a little thinner :D
Real Heath Robinson like LOL :D

Doesn't seem worth the effort to me... Great job Lee.. But just seems to me that simply soldering the wires would be easier.

What you using the 12 volt one for Dan, it's only rated at 0.2 amp, not a lot, and only up to 18 volts input... It won't tolerate any spikes at all either... It's cheap and nasty mate, sorry...

The 5 volt one is only 1 amp...
