Got a new job

Some of you know I was made redundant end of March, had 6 weeks holiday really... I actually went to sign in at jobseekers on Tuesday gone there. Well today I had an interview for a new position as an electronics engineer. I start on Tuesday.... Pretty awesome.... I'm going to be designing some new test gear for them. Only on £30K to start with but its better than Jobseeker's Allowance...lol. When we get these new designs to market my salary should rocket up...

New toys sounds like fun, I wish I could afford some.

I have always believed that it is easier to find another job if you are already working so if it doesn't pan out at least you have some income while you are looking.

Thanks guys, appreciate your support. I've known the MD for nearly 2 years now, I done some design work for him whilst at my last job. Still haven't received my redundancy money, that B owes me £6,264.00.

Thanks Lee, well it's less than my last wage but I'm sure it will go up soon... Wow 3 times less, that's not good. Won't you get any pay increases?

Yes there is Graham, it's a fairly big company, deals in test equipment mainly.. But does a lot of training too. Website is www.pass.co.uk, take a look at what they do....
