Posting broken bits back

Post by treff »

I thought I would do this post has a warning to others not to fall into the same trap that I did.
My tail servo gave out after about 8 flights cost about £100 with postage. I sent it back to where I got
it from in Germany but made the big mistake of not getting tracking or signed for and of course it
did not arrive. Me seething and £100 smackers down the tube. Lesson learned the hardest way.
WHEN SENDING STUFF BACK FOR REPLACEMENT GET TRACKING POSTAGE ! AND GET IT SIGNED
FOR!

i buy lot of stuff from china off ebay but it never amounts to that much mate. good thing about ebay is if theres a problem you get your money back. and i wouldnt bother sending anything broken back... yeah agree with Kev there. try and get from UK, especially the expensive stuff

Iv have had good luck with eBay up until this year. I'm alway skeptical about eBay tho.. My last order originated from China... Never arrived.. Luckily of not much value..

If my deliveries from china don't come in their allotted time I always write to the seller, always get a reply with some excuse, so I give them x amount of days and say I'll be opening a claim with eBay, I haven't once not got a refund, and occasionally got the refund and the item has eventually arrived... My orders are never of much value either, biggest was the Kbar.. Other than items for work, ordered 300 Bluetooth modules a few months ago, got them no problems....
