Might be biting the perverbial bullet

Post by murankar »

So last night I was laying in bed watching YouTube. The thought of getting servos for the Gaui X3 has been looming in my head. The weather lately has sparked the thought of starting the fix up on her. So I I was thinking of replacing just the broke servo. Then I said self: how happy would you be if you broke another servo? Now what is one to do if they decide to replace all servos? What do I look at or what is that I want. Then I thought to myself the servos are the only thing that is budget on this helicopter. Today I decided I just might order some BK servos. Yep 4 bk servos just might get paid for next week. The last thing to get are new 4s packs. Just don't know what capacity will work.

The Gaui. Looking at the 3001 for the cyclic and the 5005 for the tail. I could get away with the 3005 but I really prefer the bigger servo on the tail. I don't know why I do but I do. I know when I built my hobbypartz trex clone I used the bigger savox tail servo. Maybe because that's all I really ever used. May I digress. So that's what I am thinking for the moment. The tail servo is still up for grabs. I'll see how I feel about the expenditure when that day comes.

OH my Oh my OH my. The OT paid off, hell yeah. Yep the BK 3001 (*3) and the 5001 tail are ordered. I busted my back side these last two weeks for the extra cash and it paid off. All I have to say is Helidirect is getting a little thin on Gaui X3 parts time to find another vendor.

Try AnythingHeli for Gaui parts. I order from them all the time because Helidirect never has anything in stock any more. I'm pleased with them and shipping is about 3 Days to receive from the time you place your order in. :)

I got the 4 servo combo for around 280. That's 30 off the full price for all 4. Plus they were in stock. I'll take a look at that web site. I really don't feel like spending $50 in shipping from the mother ship. TSH has everything but at a cost of shipping.
