Radio switch broken

Hey everyone, I done mess up and broke one of the switches on my Spektrum DX6 The switch located on the left side on top.

Now is it easier to get the part and fix it my self which I'm not really sure how or send the TX in and get it done by someone who knows how?
Who does carry one of theses switches? OR can I use a switch from another Radio? Any help will be appreciated.

Normally you would just order a switch and solder it in. If you want the exact part then contact spektrum and order it. As for sending it in, you could but you will pay for the round trip shipping and for parts and labor. I am not sure if it would be considered warranty work.

Well I hate to send it in then. That was my flight mode switch letter B "N-S1-S2" Now I'm going to use my G switch for my flight mode. My question is if that switch is broken, will it interfere with the other function of the radio?

Shouldn't, your just short a switch. That switch is threeway, if you have a dx6i then that flight mode switch should work as a quick fix. Call SPecktrum and see if you can order that one switch.

They have a few listed I would call just to make sure .
You also can pick these switches up at Radio shack if you have any around you
Just open up the tx and get the amp and volt specks of the switch

Radio shack, I will check them out. Cool, that way I don't have to deal with shipping and waiting for the parts to arrive.

We used to have Tandy (UK radio shack), they have been gone for a hood 10+ years.
