2015 Polar Bear Fun Fly

I recently found an rc club that isn't real far from where I live. It will probably take me 25 minutes to get there. They are having their annual Polar Bear Fun Fly to bring in the New Year. Today's high temperature is around 30 degrees F and the winds are suppose to gust up to 20mph. Right now, at 7:03am, the temperature outside is 18 degrees F and the winds are blowing about 12-15mph. So...I'm going to bundle up with 10-30 layers on, lol, and I'm going to attempt to go and fly my beloved Blue Cub STOL. I'm hoping that my Cub will perform very well for me and show them that I'm quite interested in joining their club. I'm taking my video camera so I will post some video and pics later today.

I'm sorry....change in plans. My 1 year old daughter woke up this morning with a fever. She's teething and it's really causing her some grief. No flying for me today.

If the admins want to just delete this thread so that others don't come here, in hopes of seeing some cold weather flying, that's fine with me.

Sorry guys!!! The munchkin is more important!
