CC3D upgrade to cleanflight - big ooops

Post by Tony »

well today i thought id find a tutorial to upgrade my CC3D from openpilot to cleanflight.

i followed this guide to the letter. https://medium.com/@iam12hak/cleanfligh ... 963272c3ed

it went thought everything OK exept now i seem to have lost my VCP driver as it wont talk to laptop anymore... ive tried all sorts of things. tried the new one recommended on that page, no joy at all... i dont have a small 4 pin header to directly access the serial port either.

oh well, another aircraft knackered....

Dan I have flashed my CC3D to Cleanflight.
Worked first time.
But the channel mapping is all out. Any ideas?
Cheers

Lee there is a channel mapping drop down in Cleanflight configurator.
I think it is on the config tab.
Pick the right one (don't forget to save) then check it in the receiver tab. :)

None of the configs are right.
I have tried all three.

have you tried restoring it with the cc3d ground station tony, open ground station on the firmware tab and try to auto update it may reflash the cc3d with its own firmware.

Are you using PPM? have you ticked the box in config?
Is your board rotated, have you set that in config?
